- It was in a huge guarded room all by itself.
- There were people pondering it in deep thought? WTF?
- I thought I was on Candid Camera, except they did not allow any cameras in there.
- There was a girl on a bench in front of the painting, sketching it?
- It was a pretty large painting, but other than that, there was no frame or any other indication of its value.
- A Japanese tour group spent 10 minutes discussing that thing.
I just watched the people in utter amazement.
So can anybody tell me what business that painting has in a Museum? I have a can of ‘Chef BOYARDEE’ sitting on my desk that has more appeal than that thing. Maybe I’m just not cultured enough to understand the attraction?

Gotta be something to it...Maybe it was painted by a blind guy using his left hand upside down under water or something.
can't you guys see... it shows the struggle of a black hispanic feminist woman who must struggle against the white male and his attempts to destroy the spotted owl and force her to bear children she helped conceive.
i hope there was an amendment to the recent transportation and/or energy bill giving money to this artist to further her/his/its work.
colorado--you may be on to something...I see a symmetry here that parallels each other, giving your somewhat seemingly unorthodox analysis a measure of validity. With this painting, ANYTHING is possible, proven by it’s presence in the museum. This makes it a true Masterpiece!!! Thanks for the insight!

I have had SO many experiences like this in art museums - wondering why a blotchy mess of paint streaks on a canvas makes some think "art" rather than "Was that person WELL when they did that?"
It's good to know I'm not alone.
That painting is.. uh.. there's no nice way to put it. It's crap! hahaha.
