Misty

“Long ago, and so far away, I fell in love with you, before the second show...”
You loved Karen Carpenter; I remember. You loved life.
Remember the time, when you and I sat together and observed the world?
And for that moment we shared eternity.
And we knew what life was all about, it was so simple.
We listened.
To life.
As one.
Here’s to you, Princess. And I don’t even have to say it.
We don’t even have to say it...

She is absolutely GORGEOUS! Indeed she must hold a very, VERY special place in your heart.

Thank you for letting ME see YOUR Misty!

so....this a poetry blog now?

mama mouse--thank you. When I saw YOUR Misty the memories just overwhelmed me.

rock--HELL no! This is just a minor detour like the time I took that HomeEc class in college. Cut me some slack. If I see a pretty lake, I just like to dip my feet in the waters a little, that's all. If I see a pretty girl, I would just like to... (it's natural.)

Nice kitty.

Hey Vince, thanks for linking to me.

RV--thanks for stopping by. I guess I'm a fan of yours. I see principle and character on your blog. You don't give an undeserved inch. And your recent response to said Katie Carroll shows classic RV non-negotiable conviction. Keep it up!
It’s important and you have the talent.

Dawn--I didn't see that one coming :) I did a double take of your cat icon too. It looks like he's wearing boots, or has his pants down...

I LOVE this picture! What a gorgeous cat. I want to reach through my computer monitor and hug Misty!

Where was Misty when you hurled the Snoball?

Unknown said...

Thank you Colleen. She is more likely to jump out of the computer screen to hug YOU!

Jozee; she was dodging pillows, dreaming of mice, and rolling in catnip...

Too bad cats are territorial and unfriendly to each other or I'd invite yours over to play with my 4 cats.

My wife and I don't write poetry about our cats but we sit around with guitars and make up songs about them being gay for each other. They can be quite funny, especially in a Southern twang...

Thanks, Vince. Most people just think I'm stupid for being so stubborn....but I know where I stand and I change for no one. Thanks for the appreciation, brother.
